Copying or Modifying a Target

FlexNet Manager Suite 2019 R2 (On-Premises Edition)

You can modify an existing target. You can also copy an existing target to create a new target.

To copy or modify a target:

1. Navigate to Discovery & Inventory > Discovery and Inventory Rules.
   The Discovery and Inventory Rules page lists the existing discovery and inventory rules.
2. Click the Targets tab.
3. Do either of the following: Click the edit icon for the target that you wish to modify. You can click the copy icon to copy this target with a new name.
   1. To modify a target, click its edit icon, change the target's properties, and click Save.
   2. To copy a target with a new name, click its copy icon, and click Create.
4. When you have finished editing the properties, click Close to return to the list of targets.
