User Type

The classification of each end-user into External, Infrequent, or Normal users. During compliance calculations, the infrequent and external users are discounted relative to normal end-users.

To change the type for an end-user, click the current User type value in the appropriate row of the list, and choose a different value from the drop-down list that appears.

Tip: Discount factors for each type of end-user must be recorded in the Normal user equivalents section at the top of this tab.

Only available for IBM Authorized User, and IBM UVU licenses.
