Committing License-Type Changes

FlexNet Manager Suite 2020 R2 (On-Premises)

When you accept or overwrite license recommendations, the license type and the recommendation status in the FlexNet Manager for SAP Applications report is changed accordingly. To make these changes permanent, you need to commit this data to the user primary records in the SAP database.

To commit license type changes to the user primary records in SAP:

1. Run a Process Recommendations Offline report, and process the license-type recommendations.
2. Select the user or users whose primary records should be updated. You have the following options:
   • Click Select to select all users that have been processed.
   • Manually select individual users (press the Ctrl key to select multiple users).
3. Click Commit.

The user primary data in the SAP database changes accordingly.
