Deallocate Licenses from a User

FlexNet Manager Suite 2020 R2 (On-Premises)

The Licenses tab of the User properties page enables you to deallocate existing licenses from a user. After deallocation, the user loses its reservation on the license(s).

To deallocate licenses from a user:

1. Navigate to Enterprise > All Users, and click the user from which you need to deallocate licenses.
2. On the User Properties page, click the Licenses tab.
3. Select the allocated license(s) that you need to deallocate by clicking the corresponding check box. The Allocation type column displays the license allocation status.
4. Click Deallocate to deallocate the selected license(s) from the user.
   Note: When multiple license records are selected, the Deallocate button is enabled only when at least one of the selected records has the Allocation type property set to any value other than Unallocated.
5. Click Save.
