Customizable Management Dashboard
The default dashboard has the following widgets (listed alphabetically) although more are available to be added as desired:

Contract renewals within next 30 days | Lists all contracts that are either due for renewal or overdue. You can click the card, open the corresponding contract, and either modify Next renewal date on the General tab, or review applicable contract terms. |
Contract reviews within next 30 days | This card lists the number of contracts whose terms and conditions must be reviewed within the next 30 days. You can click the card, open and review the contract, and update Review date on the General tab. |
Contracts expiring within next 30 days | This card lists the number of contracts, if any, about to expire within the next 30 days. You can click the card, open and review the contract, and update Expiry date on the General tab. |
Device Assets without Inventory | Lists the devices that did not report any inventory. The Linked inventory column has no value for such devices. You can click the card to review the list. For more details, see Device Assets Without Inventory. |
Devices missing for over 60 days | Lists the number of devices reported during the previous inventory, but currently unavailable for 60 days or more. |
Discovered devices with alerts | Lists the devices with an alert flag next to the device name that indicates the number of issues associated with the device. You can click the card to view the whole list, and choose an appropriate remedial action depending on the type of an alert. For more information, see Inventory Issues. |
Licenses under-consumed by % | Indicates the percentage of purchased licenses that are not used by anyone, plus
a tentative amount of overspent funds (to view the licenses, click the card). Tip: You can narrow down your search by selecting a different percentage
from the Percentage of entitlement under-consumed list on the
Under-Consumed Licenses page. You can also add the Under-consumed % column from
the Choose columns dialog box, click
the column title, and sort the licenses in either ascending or descending
order.

Payment optimization | This graph compares upcoming payments against the amount that could be paid if only the used licenses were covered by the payment. Reflects outgoing payments for licenses over the time-span of 3 months. This bar-chart compares the current and estimated payments for all of your enterprise's licenses versus their utilized value. The utilized value is retrieved from the overall cost of licenses for all installed applications identified on your network during the inventory import. If the payment considerably exceeds the utilized value, you might want to re-consider the number of applications your enterprise purchases, or apply a different licensing model.Note: Utilized Value indicates what the projected payment amount would be if the
contract were re-negotiated to cover only those licenses that are actually being used.
If usage tracking is not in place for licenses associated with this payment, then the
number of installed licenses is used to calculate this value. This graph is based on a
linear cost model, and does not take into account price breaks. It indicates
approximate savings that might be gained by license optimization.

Payments due | This pie-chart shows the ratio of upcoming payments to paid ones (for more
details about payment types, see the next row in this table). Tip: For
completed payments, the Negotiated Savings value is the result of a value in the
Actual/fixed amount field subtracted from a figure in the Estimated amount
field (or in the Budgeted amount
field if no estimated amount was recorded). These fields can be edited when you create
a new payment schedule (or edit the existing one on the
Installments tab of the schedule's
properties).

Planned payments |
This graph shows the level of upcoming license payments in your enterprise. The
amount already paid is compared to additional projected payments that are based on
payment schedules. A considerable difference between the graph's peaks and troughs
might indicate the need to re-adjust payment schedules. The bar-chart includes:

Publishers at risk | Indicates the number of software or hardware vendors whose licensed products exceed the number of licenses currently available in your organization, and the tentative value. For possible reasons and remedies, see breach, risk, and Licenses at Risk. Clicking the card and then all of its components ultimately takes you to the License Summary page: you can navigate to the license's properties to review license consumption errors on its Compliance tab. These items need attention ahead of an audit. You can purchase additional licenses, or add those already bought to FlexNet Manager Suite, and then link these licenses to the corresponding non-compliant applications. |
Publishers with the most products at risk | This bar-chart shows the publishers on your enterprise's networks whose products
do not meet license compliance requirements for a range of reasons. For example, more
applications are installed or used than your enterprise has purchased the licenses for.
To view the details, click the graph's bar (for more information, see Product Summary and License Summary). Remember: It is
best to address these issues as soon as possible because of audit compliance
requirements and legal implications.

Unassigned subnets and devices |
Indicates the number of unassigned subnets and unmanaged devices. An unassigned subnet is a subnet that is not assigned to any of the inventory beacons. To view all unassigned subnets, click Unassigned subnets on the card. From this page, you can assign these subnets to an inventory beacon. For details, see Adding a Subnet to an Inventory Beacon. To view all unmanaged devices, click the Unassigned devices area of the card. An unmanaged device is the device present in a subnet that is not assigned to any of the inventory beacons. Due to this reason, this device cannot be targeted in the discovery and inventory rule for deploying the FlexNet inventory agent. Note that no inventory data is collected from an unassigned subnet or from an unassigned device associated. For license calculation and audit compliance purposes, it is best to review these items, and assign them accordingly. |
Unauthorized installations | Indicates the number of installed applications that you have chosen to prohibit, and yet they were identified on your network during the latest inventory import. You can click the card, review the list of these applications, and inform the IT department: you might need to uninstall these applications. Alternatively, you can select the application and change its status from Unauthorized to any other value. |
Unlicensed installations | This pie-chart displays the percentage of unlicensed applications that are identified as installed on your enterprise's networks. For a list of possible solutions, see Unlicensed Installations. |
Unprocessed purchases | Lists the number of unprocessed purchases and their total value (this stated value is the sum of prices in Total price columns across all unprocessed purchases). You can click the card to review these purchases, and link them with a license or contract, depending on a specific issue. If a purchase and license remain unlinked, and therefore unprocessed, the license cannot be accounted for during license compliance calculations. |
