FlexNet Manager Suite 2020 R2 (On-Premises)

A vendor is any third-party company or entity that sells things to your organization. In FlexNet Manager Suite terms, both a software publisher and a software re-seller are recorded as vendors.

To link a license to a vendor, you must first manually create a vendor record. You might need to double-check if the vendor you are about to add already exists in the system, thus avoiding duplicate vendor records.

Note: When necessary, publisher-type vendors can be updated automatically by means of Application Recognition Library.
