Creating a Process Recommendations Offline Report

FlexNet Manager Suite 2021 R1.3 (On-Premises)

Ensure that you have imported the recommendations from FlexNet Manager Suite into an independent SAP system using an XML file. For more information, see Importing License-Type Recommendations.

To create a Process License Recommendations Offline report:

1. On the independent SAP system, execute the transaction /n/LICMAN/OFFLINE.
2. In the Recommendation Processing and Package Measurements screen, under License Recommendations, click Process Recommendations.
   The Process Recommendations Offline screen provides an overview of all recommendations that have been imported into the independent SAP system.
3. Select from the following options:
   • To create an automated report that contains only recommendations of a specific status, in the Monitor section, click the number underneath the respective status. For status information, see Recommendation Status Values for Independent SAP Systems.
   • To create a report with all recommendations, click Total.
   • If you want to create a customized report, specify your selection criteria in the area below the Monitor section. If you leave a field blank, all values are automatically selected for the report. After you made your selections, click Execute to run the report.

   Option	Description
   User Name	Enter the user ID or range of user IDs that should be included in the report.
   Original License Type	Enter the license type or a range of license types that should be included in the report.
   Recommended Lic. Type	Enter the recommended license type or a range of recommended license types that should be included in the report.
   Pending	Select this check box if you want to include recommendations that have already been imported but have not yet been processed.
   Accepted	Select this check box if you want to include recommendations that have the status Accepted.
   Rejected	Select this check box if you want to include recommendations that have the status Rejected.
   Overwritten	Select this check box if you want to include recommendations that have the status Overwritten.
   New License Type ... to ...	This option is available when you select the Overwritten check box. You can use it to further filter the report for specific license-type recommendations that were overwritten. To do so, enter the new license type or a range of new license types.
   Ignored	Select this check box if you want to include recommendations that have the status Ignored.

   The Process Recommendations Offline screen opens where you can process the recommendations.
