The central databases for FlexNet Manager Suite, where the application server stores data.

The operations databases store the following datasets separately:

• Compliance data
• FlexNet inventory data
• A snapshot data for performance improvement (particularly for reports)
• A data warehouse for trending analysis
• Optionally, the Cognos content store (if you are using the Report Designer).
