Data Models

FlexNet Manager Suite 2021 R1 (On-Premises)

You must select a data source in the reporting template before building a custom report. It is recommended that you use data from one data model or the other when creating widgets and dashboards. You need to keep this in mind and plan ahead before you begin to create a dashboard. Flexera Analytics includes the following data models that can be used as data sources when creating a report or dashboard:

• Flexera Asset Management Data Model: provides trending information for applications, purchases, and inventory. The Operational Dashboard and Risk Management Dashboard refer to this model. (These dashboards are available in the Flexera Boards folder within the Team Content folder.)
• Flexera Data Models: provides software asset and hardware asset information for applications, licenses, assets, contracts and purchases.
