System Settings: Integrations Tab

FlexNet Manager Suite 2021 R1 (On-Premises)

The Integrations tab on the System Settings page enables you to integrate FlexNet Manager Suite with these products:

  • ServiceNow
  • Flexera SaaS Manager
  • Unified Spend Analytics.

ServiceNow

You can import data from ServiceNow to FlexNet Manager Suite, and also export data from FlexNet Manager Suite to ServiceNow.
Note: Your FlexNet Manager Suite license must have the ServiceNow Integration option enabled to use these settings. To check, navigate to the system menu ( in the top right corner) > FlexNet Manager Suite License and ensure that the ServiceNow Integration enabled setting displays Yes.

Flexera SaaS Manager

An optional SaaS Manager button that opens Flexera SaaS Manager in a new browser tab is available for the modal navigation bar. By default, this SaaS Manager button is not displayed.

To show the SaaS Manager button in the modal navigation bar, expand the SaaS Manager section of this tab, and select the Show link to SaaS Manager check box.
Remember: If you separately decide to turn on Flexera SaaS Manager integration, so that SaaS licenses are imported and visible in FlexNet Manager Suite, the property sheet for each of these licenses automatically includes a link into Flexera SaaS Manager (to the log-in screen if you don't already have an open session, or else directly to the matching license within Flexera SaaS Manager). In these circumstances, you may have limited need for a button in the navigation bar, which is why it defaults to hidden. However, you can enable this button whether or not you have licensed Flexera SaaS Manager, so it can provide a useful path to explore what Flexera SaaS Manager offers you.

Unified Spend Analytics

FlexNet Manager Suite supports exporting spend data (all purchase orders linked to software licenses and all purchase orders linked to hardware assets) to Flexera's Unified Spend Analytics. Unified Spend Analytics is a common dashboard available to Flexera customers. At a glance, the Unified Spend Analytics dashboard shows how much your organization is spending on Information Technology components, from which you can easily identify where spending is greatest, and with which vendors. You can also monitor the changing composition of that spend over time. To sign up for Unified Spend Analytics functionality, contact Flexera Support.

By default, the Unified Spend Analytics button is not shown in the modal navigation bar. This button opens Unified Spend Analytics in a new browser tab.

To show the Unified Spend Analytics button in the modal navigation bar, expand the Unified Spend Analytics section and select the Show link to Unified Spend Analytics check box.
