History Tab

FlexNet Manager Suite 2022 R1 (On-Premises)
  • For the History tab under Remote Device Properties, see History Tab.
  • For the History tab under Virtual Desktop Template Properties, see History Tab.
The History tab on the Inventory Device Properties page displays the details of all the changes made to this inventory device.
Tip: History entries showing software linking/unlinking on this inventory device may have a change date in this list that is more recent that the Last inventory date shown in the General tab of these device properties. This can happen even when the device has been retired and its Status (also on the General tab) is Ignored. Reasons for these 'late' changes can include:
  • The device may be reported in multiple different inventory sources, and there may be a recent import from a 'minor' (non-primary) inventory source (which doesn't trigger a change to the Last inventory date) that updates information about software
  • ARL updates may have improved software recognition rules, and software recognition (which leads to linking or unlinking as appropriate) is reassessed with each compliance calculation, independent of whether new inventory has been received.
