Overview

The goal of the SAM Optimization Hub is to be the main resource where your team can see at a glance, your achieved optimization on Windows Server, SQL Server and Linux, and also, what additional savings you can make by taking action, such as, optimizing your virtualized infrastructure to minimize costs under Oracle rules for soft partitioning, and canceling or downgrading license subscriptions. Thus, the SAM Optimization Hub gives teams a better understanding of their current license consumption and realization of potential savings.

Navigating to the SAM Optimization Hub

The SAM Optimization Hub is accessible by navigating to Management > SAM Hubs > SAM Optimization Hub.

Note: The SAM Optimization Hub is accessible to all users. However, summary data provided by the current snapshot widget will only be visible to those users with the relevant access rights (operators that are entitled to see all licenses, consumption and optimizations).
