Reporting Errors

FlexNet Manager Suite 2022 R2 (On-Premises)

Occasionally a red bar may appear at the top of your web interface page to alert you to an error. Most often, the error is cleared simply by reloading the page (this allows the synchronization of data between the server and the web interface).

If the error is more serious, or reappears after a page refresh, you may wish to report it to your Flexera Support representative. In this case, collect all of the following information, which allows for a faster and more accurate diagnosis of the problem, and ask one of your local support Entitlement Contacts to raise a support case including the following:
  • Copy the unique error code that is included in the text within the red bar, and paste this into your support case. This code precisely identifies the error.
  • Copy the URL that appears in your web browser's address field. This exactly identifies the page of FlexNet Manager Suite where the error occurred. (If you prefer, you may obscure the server host name and domain name from the URL: the helpful part is the details of the product page that follow.)
  • Add a description of what you were attempting at the time when the error occurred.
  • Can you reproduce the error by repeating certain steps?
These details greatly assist us in giving you first class support and the fastest possible resolution or workaround for any issue.
