Deleting a Subnet or Site
FlexNet Manager Suite 2023 R1 (On-Premises)
You can delete a manually-managed site or subnet from FlexNet Manager Suite if it
no longer exists in your network. Manually-managed site and subnet records display
                    No in the Update automatically
column. If you delete a site, all its subnets are deleted automatically.
Tip: If you delete a site (or subnet) that still exists in your network,
and this site shows Yes in the Update
automatically column, the record will be restored on the next
import from Active Directory. Conversely, if the record shows
                        Yes in the Update
automatically column and the site or subnet is removed from
Active Directory, you do not need to delete the record manually, as it will be
cleaned up automatically in the next import from Active Directory.
To delete a subnet or site:
Note: Deleting a subnet record on this page (either directly or by deleting its parent
site) does not change the specification of any inventory rules that currently
reference that subnet. (You may wish to revise your rule definitions to avoid future
confusion.) Rules as defined are still passed to all inventory beacons for evaluation. However, the inventory beacons are informed that
the subnet record is now deleted. Therefore, when the inventory beacon previously responsible for the subnet evaluates a rule specifying the deleted
subnet, it does not attempt to apply the rule, and instead returns an "out of scope"
result (this result is visible in the Discovery and Inventory
Rules page when you expand the relevant rule to show results).
