A division with the enterprise viewed from an accounting perspective. One of the types of enterprise group available in FlexNet Manager Suite.

While a formal definition has cost centers financed from the profit margin (that is adding to costs) without making a direct contribution to revenue (for example, R&D, IT), the definition in FlexNet Manager Suite is less strict. Use this kind of enterprise group to describe the accounting structure of your enterprise, no matter whether you define a particular group as a cost center or a profit center.
