Removing a License from the Purchase

FlexNet Manager Suite 2024 R1 (On-Premises)

You can manually remove the connection between a license and a purchase.

This process is normally used only for error correction.

To remove a license from the purchase:

1. From the list of related licenses, select one (or more), as shown by the check box(es) on the left end of the row(s).
   When you make any selection from this list, the Remove button is enabled.
2. Click Remove.
3. Click Save.

The following changes are made:

• The relationship between the license and the purchase is deleted.
• A record of its removal is added to the histories of the license and the purchase.
• The Effective quantity recorded on the General tab of this purchase is no longer available to the license you removed (its available entitlements are reduced). This may mean that the compliance status of that license will change at the next compliance update.
