Improved handling of agent policy and fail-over

FlexNet Manager Suite version 2020 R2

Two improvements in management of policy by inventory beacons reduce the possibility of installed FlexNet Inventory Agents getting 404 errors when they request updates, thereby improving overall system reliability and stability when gathering inventory:

• Cache management on inventory beacons is tightened, so that an inventory beacon cannot issue URLs that are invalidated by subsequent cache content changes
• Fail-over packages (listing all inventory beacons configured for anonymous authentication, where installed FlexNet Inventory Agents can request updates and upload inventory) are no longer downloaded on a separate schedule, but are requested as each FlexNet Inventory Agent processes its downloaded device policy.
