FlexNet Manager Suite version 2023 R2

The FlexNet Manager Suite REST API integration with IBM Turbonomic allows you to make savings on licensing costs by exposing licensed and non-licensable workloads running on virtual machines and computers in your organization.

If available, the following information is returned: host and cluster, installed licensed application attributes, and license attributes.

Prior to this new functionality, visibility of licensed computing resources was limited. Now with the information returned by the API, you can create policies to optimize the use of licensed computing resources for licensed publisher applications and create capacity by moving the non-licensable workload to another host where possible.

The IBM Turbonomic integration operates seamlessly within FlexNet Manager Suite, and requires no special configuration. As licensed and non-licensable workloads are rearranged for optimal performance and value, data flows automatically into FlexNet Manager Suite to help track licensing implications.
