Communication between the SAP Admin Module and an Inventory Beacon

Communication between an inventory beacon and the SAP Admin module is facilitated using web services, just like the communication between FlexNet Manager Suite and the SAP Admin module. The configuration encompasses exactly the same steps as the procedures described for configuring communication using basic authentication and SSL authentication, with the following exception: In each procedure, on the Transport Settings tab, the IP address of the relevant inventory beacon web server must be provided.
