Manage SaaS connectors
                                                    
View connectors
You can view all available SaaS connectors on the Discover tab.
You can view your added connectors on the Added tab, to see their last data import and schedule.

On the Administration menu, under Flexera One SaaS Management Settings, select SaaS Connectors.

Select the Discover tab, to view all available connectors.
 - 
                                                        
Select the Added tab, to view all added connectors.
Select the name of a connector to view its details.
 
Add connectors
You can add multiple connectors for the same vendor and product if you, for example, want to use different settings. If you add more than one connector with the same settings, data imports create duplicate data in the system.
To add connectors, you must prepare the necessary credentials for the connector in the respective vendor portals. To prepare connector credentials, follow the product-specific procedure.

On the Administration menu, under Flexera One SaaS Management Settings, select SaaS Connectors.

On the Discover tab, select Add connector for the connector that you want to add.

In the dialog, select Add connector.
 - 
                                                        
Enter a Name for the connector.
The name is used to identify the connector in lists and as a discovery source; it must be unique.

Under Settings, enter the credentials for the connector.
To prepare connector credentials, follow the product-specific procedure.

Under Schedule, you can schedule data imports.
By default, schedule is Enabled and set to daily at
23:00in your time zone. You can change the time or disable scheduling:- 
                                                                
To change the time for data imports, in Daily, edit the time.
The selected time is in your time zone, based on the time zone of your browser. The offset of your browser's time zone from UTC is shown in parentheses. Someone in another time zone sees the scheduled time in their time zone.
The selected time, and the displayed offset, adjusts automatically for daylight saving time, when applicable.

To disable scheduling, in Schedule, select Disabled.
A disabled schedule requires that you manually import data. Data from the vendor will not be updated automatically in your system.

To add the connector and test the connection, select Save.
The connector is added to the system.
 
Edit connectors
You can edit the name, settings, and data import scheduling.

On the SaaS connectors page, on the Added tab, select the checkbox for the connector that you want to edit.

On the Actions menu, select Edit.
 - 
                                                        
In the Name, Settings, and Schedule, edit the applicable fields.
Follow the steps in Add connectors if required.

Select Save.
 
On the Edit connector page, you can also delete a connector.
Test connections
You can test the connection to check that the credentials work.

On the SaaS connectors page, on the Added tab, select the checkbox for the connector for which you want to test the connection.

On the Actions menu, select Test connection.
 
Schedule data imports
You can set a schedule for data imports so that you always have the latest data for your SaaS estate. Data imports are scheduled daily by default when you add a connector.
If you disable the schedule, no data is imported to the system unless you manually do it.

On the SaaS connectors page, on the Added tab, select the checkbox for the connector that you want to edit.

On the Actions menu, select Edit.

Under Schedule, do one of the following:

To set or edit a schedule:

In Schedule, select Enabled.

In Daily, select the time.

Import data
You can manually import data, even when the connector has a schedule set.
If you want to disable data imports, disable the schedule, as described in Schedule data imports.

On the SaaS connectors page, on the Added tab, select the checkbox for the connector for which you want to run an aggregation.
 - 
                                                        
On the Actions menu, select Import now.
 
Delete connectors
You can delete connectors, their settings, and all collected data. If you only want to disable data imports, disable the schedule, as described in Schedule data imports.

On the SaaS connectors page, on the Added tab, select the checkbox for the connector that you want to delete.

On the Actions menu, select Delete.
 - 
                                                        
In Delete connector, select Delete.
 
You can also delete a connector from the Edit connector page, as described in Edit connectors.
Manage imported Salesforce subscriptions
You can manage Salesforce restricted use licenses by linking them to users with specific roles or profiles. This provides traceability between the parent and split subscriptions and ensures correct subscription count and cost.

On the SaaS connectors page, on the Added tab, select the Salesforce connector that you want to manage.

On the sidebar that appears, select Manage imported Salesforce subscriptions.
 - 
                                                        
Select the checkbox for the subscription that you want to split.
 - 
                                                        
On the Actions menu, select Split.
 - 
                                                        
In the Split subscription sidebar:
- 
                                                                
Select your user type preference: Roles or Profiles.
 - 
                                                                
Enter a Subscription name and Quantity, and select the roles or profiles associated with the split subscription.
 - 
                                                                
To add another split subscription, select Add split and repeat step 2.
 - 
                                                                
Select Save.

In the table, expand the parent subscription to view the new split subscriptions.
 - 
                                                        
In the top-right corner, select Apply to implement your changes. The split status updates to Completed when the split is applied.
If you create splits for multiple subscriptions, selecting Apply applies the split to all subscriptions with Updated or Unsplit statuses.

To view your split subscriptions, go to the main Subscriptions page and search for your split subscription name. The split subscriptions appear as individual entries in the table.

You can also unsplit an existing split subscription by selecting Unsplit from the Actions menu, and then applying the action by selecting Apply.

You can revert all pending changes in the table to their previous state by selecting the Reset button in the top-right corner.
