Improved Software Lifecycle Precision for Quebec and Rome

Due to the changes implemented in Quebec and Rome, displayed lifecycle may be slightly ambiguous. This is because Technopedia distinguishes this information with a higher level of granularity which is not properly displayed out of the box.

For example, in the image below you see what appears to be redundant phases of life cycle information for a given software model. However, this only appears to be redundant because the standard view by default shows all lifecycle records where the manufacturer, product name, product version and product edition match.

However, Technopedia also distinguishes between patch levels (e.g. SP1, SP2).

To clarify this, we've introduced a new Flexera view when drilling into Software Models.

This view allows the life cycle that is returned to function like prior ServiceNow platform releases and is tied to the software model.
