Technopedia Lifecycle Data is Now Available in ServiceNow Native Table

Flexera has extended the native table feature to incorporate Technopedia lifecycle data. When enabled, lifecycle data is represented as lifecycle “phases” within ServiceNow. This enables ServiceNow customers who leverage Technopedia data within ServiceNow to do so within the platform's native capabilities.

For example, ServiceNow customers may now view Technopedia lifecycle data in the drill down for the software model.

As well as view Technopedia lifecycle data in Application Portfolio Management/Technology Portfolio Management.

Note:When working with Flexera lifecycle data within TPM without following the process below, lifecycle content from Technopedia will be labeled as undefined and require the additional step to Show lifecycle from all sources. To resolve this, ServiceNow customers must manually add a record in the sys_choice table for the native life cycle table for the “source” element and assign Flexera a priority as described in the ServiceNow documentation and detailed below.

To enable this feature, you must first enable the native table option in Integration Properties by checking the box Integrate Flexera Models/Installations in ServiceNow tables at the bottom of the screen so that it is set to Yes.
