Updated computer and Netgear database view to return all records in table

The Flexera Netgear database view x_fls_flexera_fnms_netgear has been updated to return all records in the table.

Previously, a filter would drop export rows whenever cmdb_ci_hardware did not have valid model in the cmdb_model table.

Added additional attributes to “Flexera Software Install Export” definition for enhanced customer customization options

The Status (install_status) and Substatus (hardware_substatus) fields are now available for filtering in the Flexera Software Install Export (x_fls_flexera_fnms_sam_sw_install) view.

Caution:Changing an export definition filter is allowed if you have access to it. Keep in mind that whenever the Flexera Integration app is updated to a new version, ServiceNow may keep the settings or may set them back to the default definitions.

Performance improvements ingesting data into ServiceNow

The Flexera Integration app now uses concurrent processes for a multiple import set which speeds up the data ingestion into ServiceNow by up to 50%.

Improved performance of bulk updates of large volume of software instances

The performance of the Flexera Integration app has been enhanced to better handle bulk updates of greater volumes of software instances (in the millions or larger) by moving the business rules for the Software model and Discovery models bulk update to a background script which allows the switching of Import Transactions from Software Instance to Disk without any delay.

Added “Software Asset Management Software Tables” main menu for imported software installation and software models

A new main menu item, Software Asset Management Software Tables, has been added under the Flexera Integration menu and replaces the Flexera Integration > Imported Records > Normalized Software Instances menu. This change helps users quickly navigate to the imported software installation and software models data they are looking for.

Important:This menu item replaces the Normalized Software Instances menu item that was located under the Flexera Integration > Imported Records menu.

Updated descriptions of some Import Properties to flag properties that are not applicable when SRE is enabled

The ServiceNow Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) Rule feature was added in Flexera Integration app v5.0.8. As a result of some import properties (Flexera Integration > Import Properties) not being used when IRE is enabled, the Import Properties (Flexera Integration > Import Properties) screen has been updated to flag the properties that are not used when IRE is enabled.

The following issues have been resolved in Flexera Integration app v5.0.9:
