Additional Setup.ini Parameters

You can modify the Setup.ini file generated by Tuner for added functionality. The following two parameters can be included in the [Startup] section of the Setup.ini:

SuppressWin2k |
If you add this line and set its value to “Y” or “y” (SuppressWin2k=Y or SuppressWin2k=y), Setup.exe will not display a message on the target system stating that an older version of Windows Installer is installed. |

SuppressReboot |
If you add this line and set its value to “Y” or “y” (SuppressReboot=Y or SuppressReboot=y), Setup.exe will delay the reboot typically required by the installation of a newer version of Windows Installer on the target machine. If the application’s setup requires a reboot, this will occur normally. |
