Adding New Data Sources

To add a new ODBC Data Source:

1.

Select ODBC Resources from the checklist. The ODBC Resources View opens.

Right-click either ODBC Data Sources group or one of its children groups from the ODBC Resources tree and select New Data Source from the shortcut menu. The ODBC Data Source dialog box opens.

Select the required data source and click OK.

Caution:If you are adding an ODBC Data Source that does not exist on your computer, type the name of the Data Source into the ODBC Data Source dialog. Keep in mind that adding a data source to a Windows Installer package that does not contain the corresponding driver may render the package useless.
