Converting MSI/EXE/PS1 Packages to Intunewin Format Using the Conversion Wizard
You can convert MSI/EXE/PS1 packages to Microsoft Intunewin using the Conversion Wizard.
You can convert at a package level, an application level, and on a group level.
Perform the following steps to convert MSI/EXE/PS1 packages to Intunewin using the Conversion Wizard.
To convert MSI/EXE/PS1 packages to Intunewin:
1. | In the Applications tree, right-clicking on a package or an application or group of applications, and then select Convert/Repackage from the shortcut menu. |
2. | On the Target Type Selection panel of the Conversion Wizard, select Microsoft Intune Windows App, and then click Next. |
3. | The Package Output Location panel opens. By default, the Intunewin package name (similar to source package name) will be displayed in the Specify the Intunewin file name text box. If required, enter the desired Intunewin file name in the text box. |
If you want to select different output location, click Browse and select preferred location (if required), and then click Next.
4. | The Summary panel opens. Click Next. |
5. | On the Converting the Packages panel, click Finish once the conversion process is complete. |
Upon successful action, the converted package will be imported under the Application tree.
Note:Converted package will be imported as .intunewin format.
