Automation without User Running AdminStudio
The AdminStudioHostService is a new Windows service introduced as part of the AdminStudio suite installation. It is designed to manage and maintain the background processes essential for AdminStudio’s package automation capabilities. Once installed and configured, this service ensures that AdminStudio Host remain active, allowing scheduled automation tasks to execute without requiring the AdminStudio user interface to be open. This enhances the efficiency and reliability of automation tasks by running essential processes continuously in the background.
To start the host using AdminStudioHostService, user need to configure the catalog details in the AdminStudioHostService.exe.config file, which will be present in the install directory of AdminStudio along with AdminStudioHostService.exe.
