Generate DNS Name
The Domain Name System (DNS) provides a service name to an IP address. To generate a service name to an IP address, perform the following steps.
To generate a DNS name to an IP address:

Log in to Microsoft Azure using the obtained credentials: |
https://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/account/

2.

From the list of available Azure services, choose Virtual Machines. The Virtual Machines page appears. |
Note:Enter keywords (Virtual Machines) in search box on the Home page to search by name.

Select the desired virtual machine. The Overview of the selected virtual machine appears. |

4.
|
Under the DNS name property, click the Not configured link. The Configuration page will appear. |
|
5.
|
Under the DNS name label (optional), enter the prefix you want to use. |
|
6.
|
Click the Save button at the top of the page. |
|
7.
|
Upon successful action, DNS name appears. |
