Functional Testing Assessment Tab

The Functional Testing Assessment tab of the Analyze Deployment Type View lists all the statuses, such as successes and errors, generated by Using Test on Virtual Machine Wizard.
On this tab, you can view detailed error and success messages for Installation, Launch, and Uninstallation.
On the Functional Testing Assessment tab, the following information is displayed:

Property |

Installation Status |
If the package is installed successfully, the status will be displayed as Success. When you expand this test category, the installation status will be shown. If the installation is successful, only a Success message will appear. In the event of a failure, an error return code will be provided. |

Launch Status |
The Launch status of the package will be displayed as Success when all the shortcuts in the package are successfully launched. When this test category is expanded, the status of launching all applicable application shortcuts will be displayed. If successful, it will show Success along with the shortcut paths. In case of failure, it will display the failure reason and the shortcut path. Note:Only .exe files without any arguments or switches will be launched. For these EXE files, the status will be shown as either Success or Failure. For other shortcut types that do not have a .exe extension, the files will not be launched, and the launch status will be shown as Success by default. |

Uninstallation Status |
The Uninstallation status of the package will be displayed as Success when the uninstallation is successful. When this test category is expanded, the status of the application's uninstallation will be displayed. |
