Add Inbound Port Rule

This section helps to create a port for the selected virtual machine. To generate a port number, perform the following steps.

To generate a port number:

1.

Log in to Microsoft Azure using the obtained credentials:

https://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/account/ 

2.

From the list of available Azure services, choose Virtual Machines. The Virtual Machines page appears.

Note:Enter keywords (Virtual Machines) in search box on the Home page to search by name.

From the list of VMs, select the desired VM. Overview of the selected VM appears.

4.

Click on Networking.

5.

In the Networking page, click the Add inbound port rule button.

The Add inbound security rule window appears.

6.

Enter the required information and then click Add button.

7.

Upon successful action, the port will be added under the Inbound port rules tab.
