Setting MSIX Conversion Options
Before you use Automated Application Converter to convert a Windows Installer packages and legacy setup packages (.exe) to a MSIX packages, you must enter either one of the following:
| • | Certificate path and certificate password |
| • | Publisher name |
You can enter a CERT Path and CERT Password or a Publisher Name in the properties window for the specific packages as shown in figure.
Note:To enter a common CERT Path and CERT Password or a Publisher Name for all the imported windows installer packages you can use Tools >> Option
Error Message
Before MSIX conversion, if CERT Path and CERT Password or Publisher Name details are not given in the Package properties, the below error message appears.
