Background
Since Windows Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft deprecated VBScript (Visual Basic Script) code as a scripting language. Web applications displayed in the edge mode will not execute VBScript code.
Resolution
The web application that relies on VBScript should be re-engineered to use JavaScript.
