Error -4395 controlling virtual machine: Failed to create VM directory

Cause:

Virtual machine could not create a directory.

Resolution:

To resolve this error, try the following:

• Verify that the Guest Username and Guest Password properties on the Machines tab for the virtual machine are set correctly.
• Verify that the virtual machine’s Output Cache Path property on the Machines tab for this virtual machine is set to a drive on the virtual machine, especially if the virtual machine does not have a C: drive.
• Verify that the package’s Package field does not include any characters that are invalid for a file name.
