Importing a Local Web Application from a Virtual Directory

To import a local web application into the Application Catalog, which will enable you to perform browser compatibility testing and interactive web testing, perform the following tests.
To import a local web application:

Open Application Manager. |

2.

On the Home tab of the ribbon, click the Import button. The Source panel of the Import Wizard opens. |

3.

Select Single application and click Next. The Package Type Selection panel opens. |
|
4.
|
Select Web application (.htm, .html) and click Next. The Package File Selection panel opens. |
|
5.
|
Click Browse and select the home page (usually index.html or index.htm) of the web application that you want to import. |
|
6.
|
Click Next. The Destination Group panel opens. |
|
7.
|
Select the group into which you want to import this web application and then click Next. The Summary panel opens. |
|
8.
|
Review the information on the Summary panel, and then click Next to begin the import. |
|
9.
|
When the import is complete, click Finish to close the wizard. The web application is now listed in the Application Manager tree in the group that you specified. |
