To add a new expression, click Add New Expression on the Expressions View to open the Expression Properties dialog box.

The Expression Properties dialog box includes the following properties:

Enter a descriptive name for the expression. |

Enter the expression that will perform the form validation. Expressions are supported for the JavaScript language. For more information about JavaScript regular expressions, visit: |

Sample Format |
Enter the format that the expression validates. This value will be displayed under the form field requiring validation to inform the user of the correct format to enter. |
