When submitting a software request, sometimes the end user needs to answer a set of questions that will give App Portal the information it needs in order to fulfill that software request.

For example, in order to approve a software request, a manager may want to know the name of the project that the end user is working on that requires this application. Or, in order to determine licensing requirements, the manager may want to know how frequently the end user will use this application or the time of day that it would be used.

In App Portal, you use the Question Manager to create questions, then group those questions into question templates using the Template Manager.

After you have created a Question Template, you can then attach it to a catalog item, as described in Attaching a Question Template.

The Site Management > Questions node has two views:

Question Manager
Template Manager
