To create a new virtual property, perform the following steps.
To create a new virtual property:
1.
On the Admin tab, open the Site Management > Active Directory > Virtual Properties > New Virtual Property view. s
2.
In the Virtual Property Name field, enter a logical name that will represent the properties specified in the current property list.

Under Property Source, select one of the following options to identify the Active Directory property from where to extract its values:
•
Active Directory User Property—Select this option to extract values from an Active Directory user property. If you select this option, you are prompted to select properties by using the arrow keys to move them from the Available to the Current list.
•
User Organizational Unit—Select this option to extract values from a User Organizational Unit. When you select this option, a tree view of Organizational Units will be displayed in the Available area. Click and drag to move properties from the tree to the Current list.
•
Computer Organizational Unit—Select this option to extract values from a Computer Organizational Unit. When you select this option, a tree view of Organizational Units will be displayed in the Available area. Click and drag to move properties from the tree to the Current list.
