For the out-of-the-box cloud catalog items or Salesforce, Box, and Office 365, the necessary variables are automatically created and displayed on the Cloud Apps tab of the Catalog Item Properties dialog box.

However, when you are creating a catalog time for another cloud application, you are required to determine what variables are required by the cloud application vendor and then add those variables to the Cloud Apps tab of that cloud catalog item.
