Entering FlexNet Manager Suite Settings

App Portal 2020 R1

App Portal can integrate with both the On Premises and Cloud versions of FlexNet Manager Suite. To connect to FlexNet Manager Suite, perform the following steps.

Note:To integrate with FlexNet Manager Suite, you also have to connect to the Flexera Service Gateway, as described in Connecting to the Flexera Service Gateway.

To enter FlexNet Manager Suite settings:

1. Select Site Management > Settings > Flexera Integration. The Flexera Integration view opens.
2. If using a multi-tenant instance of FlexNet Manager Suite, enter the FlexNet Manager Suite UID, a value that uniquely identifies a tenant in a multi-tenant instance of FlexNet Manager Suite.
3. Do one of the following:
To connect to FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud, enter your access token in the FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud Access Token field.
To connect to FlexNet Manager Suite On Premises, enter a Username (in domain\username format) and Password. However, if your App Portal system account has access to FlexNet Manager Suite, this step may not be necessary.
4. In order to use the My Apps feature, the App Portal system account needs to have read access to the FlexNet Manager Suite database. If you want to use the My Apps feature, enter the Database Server Name and Database Name of the FlexNet Manager Suite database.

Important:You also need to use Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio to give the App Portal system account read access to this database.

5. Click Save.
