The Applications tab of the Create New Role dialog box provides the area to add applications to the role. This tab also provides a list of the applications currently assigned to the role.

Search Catalog Items

Used to define application title search criteria to locate applications to include in the role.

Available Catalog Items

Lists result from the search criteria defined in the Search Catalog Items field. Applications can be selected from this section and be added to be included in the role.

Note:If a catalog item has been designated as a core application, as described in Prevent a Catalog Item from Being Included in OS Deployment By Designating it as Core Application, that catalog item will not be returned in search results when performing a search on the Applications tab.

List of the applications that are currently assigned to the role.
