Checking on the App Portal Status of a Request Submitted in BMC MyIT

To check on the App Portal status of a request submitted in BMC MyIT, perform the following steps.

App Portal / App Broker 2021 R1

To check on the status of a request that was submitted in BMC MyIT:

1. Launch App Portal and open the My Requests page. The request for Adobe Reader v8.0 is listed.
2. Once the collection icon appears in App Portal, then open the BMC MyIT end user page and look for the catalog item Adobe Reader 8.0.
3. Open the My Stuff tab and observe that Adobe Reader v8.0 will have a status of Installation Pending.
4. Open App Portal again, open the My Requests page, and click on the Refresh button after about 15-20 minutes. The deployment icon should be updated to Success.
5. Open BMC MyIT again, open the My Stuff tab, and search for Adobe Reader v8.0. Its status should have been updated to Installation Complete.

Note:Similarly the catalog items which have a status of Failed are updated to the status of Installation Failure in BMC MyIT.
