Checking on the App Portal Status of a Request Submitted in BMC MyIT
To check on the App Portal status of a request submitted in BMC MyIT, perform the following steps.
App Portal / App Broker 2021 R1
To check on the status of a request that was submitted in BMC MyIT:

1.

Launch App Portal and open the My Requests page. The request for Adobe Reader v8.0 is listed. |

2.

Once the collection icon appears in App Portal, then open the BMC MyIT end user page and look for the catalog item Adobe Reader 8.0. |
|
3.
|
Open the My Stuff tab and observe that Adobe Reader v8.0 will have a status of Installation Pending. |
|
4.
|
Open App Portal again, open the My Requests page, and click on the Refresh button after about 15-20 minutes. The deployment icon should be updated to Success. |

5.
|
Open BMC MyIT again, open the My Stuff tab, and search for Adobe Reader v8.0. Its status should have been updated to Installation Complete. |
Note:Similarly the catalog items which have a status of Failed are updated to the status of Installation Failure in BMC MyIT.
