App Portal Website Will Not Start After Installation

App Portal cannot run on a server that includes the following combination of applications:

Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit

•

Windows Server Update Services (WSUS 3.1)

App Portal cannot run with this combination due to the default setting during the WSUS installation of having compression enabled. This compression runs in 64-bit mode and App Portal runs in 32-bit mode. There are two optional workarounds for this issue.

•

Install App Portal on a web server where WSUS is not installed.

•

Run the following command on the server where App Portal and WSUS are installed:
