Alternates Subtab

You can use the General > Alternates tab to link catalog items to other catalog items to identify or offer other catalog items for deployment. For example, you can link applications that can replace existing items or new applications.

Catalog items are available as alternates if the Allow switch to? option is selected on the General > Global tab of the Catalog Item Properties dialog box.

Search for the Catalog Item in the left list and place a Check next to the item, then click the Add button to link the catalog item to the current catalog item.

When finished, click the Save button to complete the process.
