Entering FlexNet Manager Suite Settings

App Portal can integrate with both the FlexNet Manager Suite On Premises, and IT Asset Management within Flexera One. To connect to FlexNet Manager Suite On Premises, perform the following steps. To connect to Flexera One IT Asset Management, see Configuring Flexera One IT Asset Management Settings.

Note:To integrate with FlexNet Manager Suite, you also have to connect to the Flexera Service Gateway, as described in Connecting to the Flexera Service Gateway.

To enter FlexNet Manager Suite settings:

1. Select Site Management > Settings > Flexera Integration. The Flexera Integration view opens.
2. If using a multi-tenant instance of FlexNet Manager Suite, enter the FlexNet Manager Suite UID, a value that uniquely identifies a tenant in a multi-tenant instance of FlexNet Manager Suite.
3. Do one of the following:
To connect to Flexera One IT Asset Management, see Configuring Flexera One IT Asset Management Settings.
To connect to FlexNet Manager Suite On Premises, enter a Username (in domain\username format) and Password. However, if your App Portal system account has access to FlexNet Manager Suite, this step may not be necessary.
4. In order to use the My Apps feature, the App Portal system account needs to have read access to the FlexNet Manager Suite database. If you want to use the My Apps feature, enter the Database Server Name and Database Name of the FlexNet Manager Suite database.

Important:You also need to use Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio to give the App Portal system account read access to this database.

5. Click Save.
