Importing Catalog Items into ServiceNow

You can specify that you want App Broker automatically sync App Portal’s new and updated catalog items to ServiceNow. You can also choose to sync existing catalog items.

To set catalog item sync options, perform the following steps.

To import catalog items into ServiceNow:

1. Open the Site Management > Settings > ServiceNow Integration view.
2. Enter all the ServiceNow Integration details. For more information, see Connecting App Broker with ServiceNow.
3. Select the Sync catalog items with ServiceNow option and click Save. This will start the automatic sync of all of App Portal's new and updated catalog items to ServiceNow.
4. If you are an existing App Portal customer who has already defined catalog items that you want to import into ServiceNow, click the Enable button next to Enable all software catalog items to sync with ServiceNow. If you do not click this button, only new and updated catalog items will be synced with ServiceNow.
