Configure Catalog Items

In order for a catalog item request to trigger an event in an ITSM system, you need to define ITSM-specific actions on that catalog item. This is done on the Actions tab of the Catalog Item Properties dialog box.

Because you have already added the ITSM system to App Portal (as described in Adding a New ITSM System) and added the required operations (as described in Adding and Configuring New Operations) , you will now be able to select the ITSM system and the operation from the lists in the Add an action section of the Actions tab of the Catalog Item Properties dialog box. You will be able to select any of the actions in the Current Events and Actions column and then associate an ITSM action to it.
