Jamf Cloud Package Deployment Settings Panel

If you are adding an macOS desktop package from Jamf Cloud, you need to specify deployment settings on the Jamf Cloud Package Deployment Settings panel.

The Jamf Cloud Deployment Settings panel includes the following properties:

Create Uninstall Policy

If you want this App Portal catalog item to support uninstallation of the application, select this option. If this option is selected, two policies will be created in Jamf Cloud: one for installation and one for uninstallation.

In addition, App Portal will create two static computer groups: one will be added to the install policy, and the other will be added to the uninstall policy.

When users place requests for the catalog item, computers get added to the static computer group and then Jamf Cloud takes care of deployment.

Note:App Portal does not support Jamf Cloud Remote.

Select Distribution point

Select a Jamf Cloud distribution point from this list. Distribution points are servers used to host files for distribution to computers.
