Support for Intune Microsoft Store app (new)
In App Portal / App Broker 2023 R2, support was added for deploying Microsoft Store app (new) along with Windows Line of Business Apps (.msi and .msix), Windows App (Win32), and Microsoft 365 Apps via Intune.
All the capabilities that exist with Windows Line of Business Apps, Windows App (Win32), and Microsoft 365 Apps are available with the Microsoft Store app (new) type as well.
Note:Microsoft Intune has a limitation of not being able to provide the domain that a device is part of. Due to this, App Portal has limitation to support license governance capabilities such as license reservation, My Apps, and license reclamation, when Intune is the source of Device and User sync. For more information, see Intune Domain Name Limitation and Workaround.
