Entering Workspace ONE UEM Settings at Initial Start Up
To connect App Portal / App Broker to a Workspace ONE UEM instance, you can, optionally, enter settings on the Workspace ONE UEM tab of the Deployment Configuration screen which opens at initial start up after you have uploaded your license file.
Note:Workspace ONE UEM supports only mobile device deployments and you can also specify Workspace ONE UEM deployment settings at any time on the Workspace ONE UEM tab of the Site Management > Settings > Deployment view.
To enter Workspace ONE UEM connection settings upon initial start up of App Portal / App Broker, perform the steps shown in this section.
To enter Workspace ONE UEM connection settings:
The Deployment Configuration screen opens.

Open the Workspace ONE UEM tab. |

In the Workspace ONE UEM URL field, enter the URL to your instance of Workspace ONE UEM. |

Enter the User Name and Password to your Workspace ONE UEM instance. |

Enter the API Key that was provided to you by Workspace ONE UEM. |

Click Test to test connection settings. |
Note:Workspace ONE UEM users (which are based upon an email address) and are synced to App Portal / App Broker at the same time that the System Center Configuration Manager / Altiris users and are synced. App Portal / App Broker users are matched with System Center Configuration Manager / Altiris users by having the same email address.

Proceed with setting additional deployment technology settings on the other tabs of the Deployment Configuration screen, if desired. |
