Deleting an Active Directory Forest

The App Portal administrator now has the ability to delete the default Active Directory (AD) Forest, as well as any other AD Forest added during the installation of the App Portal. This provides the ability to make any AD Forest as primary.

Important:It is mandatory to have at least one valid Active Directory (AD) Forest available if you plan to use Microsoft Entra ID as the primary IAM for the optimal functioning of the App Portal capabilities.

To delete an Active Directory Forest:

1. Click on the Site Management > Active Directory > Integration view in the left navigation pane.

On the right pane you can view the list of Active Directory Forests in the grid.

2. Select the desired Active Directory Forest and click Delete.

Note:At least one valid additional IAM, either AD On-Prem or Microsoft Entra ID, must be present. If none are available, the Delete option will be disabled.

3. Click Yes to confirm and proceed with the changes.
4. Upon confirming, the selected forest will be removed from the grid.
